Definition(s):
1) The nonlinear level of how exclusive an item is with regard to some parent item.
For example, exclusivity may frequently be used with regards to video game titles in the current Console Wars. Ie: A title such as Viva Piñata is exclusive to only Microsoft's Xbox 360, while a title such as is available across many different consoles, a title like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is available on several consoles from the same parent company (in this case, Nintendo, a title like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is currently exclusive to Sony Computer Entertainment's Playstation 3 but is expected to be released for other consoles at a later date, and so on...
